20. Valeria Lukyanova

Barbie dolls are one of the most popular children's toys worldwide, right next to classic Tonka trucks and colourful singing instruments. But have you ever seen someone so enamoured with Barbie's face and body that she chose to resemble the toy in real life?

Life-sized Barbie is a Ukrainian model originally from the small eastern European town of Tiraspol, Moldova. She goes by the name of Valeria Lukyanova and has not only undergone plastic surgeries to appear like the all-American toy but has even mastered Barbie's stiff poses and starry-eyed expressions. Creepy.

19. Aline Kovalevskaya

If you thought Valeria was a one-off case, you are sadly mistaken because they are a gang of human barbies, that aren't all sold separately. Alina Kovalevskaya is from the same city as Valeria, Odessa, Ukraine. Although the two were once friends, they decided to part ways, possibly because Alina's dream world presents a simple, subtle aesthetic.

Sometimes, she rocks a brunette look instead of the classic blonde. There are a bunch of Barbie's in Mattel's fantastical world, so it only makes sense that there would be other human barbie dolls.

18. Lolita Richi

Also, from Ukraine, in the city of Kiev, Lolita claims she is the best human Barbie there is and made it a point to mention that she had no idea who the originally human Barbie, Valeria Lukyanova was. At the time of this claim, Lolita was only 16-years-old and did not hesitate to mention the sheer jealously she received from her peers and attention from the boys.

I'd say she looks great, for a human Barbie doll, but she should surely pay homage to the life-sized dolls before her like Tyra Banks and the like. As the saying goes, each one, teach one!

17. Angelica Kenova

Angelica is a real-life Barbie from Moscow whose parents manage her career, even though, she was a lot older than Lolita when she began to take the internet by storm. Once the internet discovers a new phenomenon, it could be an unfit place for anyone trying to attend to their mental health, so Angelica's parents definitely steps ahead of the game. Ms. Kenova is commonly known as the "Russian Barbie" and surely fits the Barbie doll aesthetic, maintaining a 20-inch waist.

16. Dakota Koti

This life-sized Barbie is in a lane of her own and resides in Tokyo, Japan as opposed to countries in Eastern Europe. Koti's appeal is reminiscent of an anime character which is quite impressive if you ask me. It's Barbie but make her cultured.

The American-Japanese Barbie is present on her Youtube channel (under the same name), sharing her dream world with an audience of over 500 thousand subscribers and even contributes to a written blog. Koti is giving Mattel's Barbie a run for her money.

15. Lacey Wildd

Lacey Wildd resides in Montgomery, West Virginia and has taken the Barbie look to another level. She's gone under the knife a couple of times to create and maintain her desired look and, by a couple, I mean about 36 times. Twelve of which were dedicated to her top half that also served a purpose in feeding her six children.

Wildd takes much pride in her appearance and said to the Daily Mail, "I'm proud to be plastic. I have spent a quarter of a million dollars to build the most extreme plastic body in the world".

14. Victoria Wild

It seems there is another wild one and the block, disturbing the plastic peace in Barbie's dream world. Apparently, Barbie's proportions wouldn't be compatible with a real-life human body but that doesn't stop people from trying to get as close to the look as possible.

In Victoria's case she's spent over 50 000 dollars in her attempts to look like the plastic doll. The model is originally from Cannes, France and claims her desired look is more of a blow-up sex doll than Barbie, but what's the true difference?

Hailing all the way from Russia is Julia Vins, who is not only a bodybuilder but clearly a human Barbie. let's think of Julia as a special edition doll, the ones ones that came with an office change and accessories to use to help on her daily activity or trip out of town.

In Vins case, her speciality doll would come with dumbbells and a benchpress. The doll is also know as the "Russian Pretty Powerlifter" that advocates for healthy living and lifting for achieve maximum confidence, rather than relying on her beauty alone.

11. Blondie Bennett

This next Barbie was featured on the E! reality show Botched for obvious reasons but scores high on the list for incredible personalities. When asked about her appearance and excessive cosmetic procedures, she replied that she wanted her body to resemble breasts on a stick. She nailed it.

Another famous Bennett quote to make your day, "being a real-life doll, I don’t work, but I do have my doll fans who pay for my lifestyle." Now, that sentiment is relatable but is it sustainable?

8. Justin Jedlica

If you ask me, Ken dolls don't get enough respect. Men and Ken dolls alike are integral to the functioning of society. When Barbie's pink Austin-Healey 3000 Mk II breaks down or has a flat tire, who was created to help her fix it? You guessed it, Ken.

Jedlica, however, is far from overlooked as the human Ken. He underwent his first surgery at 18 years old and has maintained her physique and image ever since. He currently lives in New York City with his boyfriend, probably living the life only fit for a doll.

7. Amber Kohuku Chan

Chan suffers from muscular dystrophy. It is an awful disease that damages and weakens muscles over time and eventually inhibits movement and mobility. Instead of allowing life to happen to her, she decided to pull herself up by the booth straps and live her life in a way that would limit her sadness.

Since her condition limits her to being picked up or sat down like a doll, she decided to start presenting like one. Chan dresses in princess-like attire and does her make-up with dramatic looks to uplift her spirit and have fun. Way to turn a frown upside down, Chan!

Shpagina is the human anime doll, which is not quite a Barbie but close enough. She rose to fame in 2015 at the age of 19 and remains a fan favorite as a result of her colored hair and eerily large doe-eyes. She's liked Japanese characters all her life and, although she wanted to permanently change her features using plastic surgery at a young age, she waited to be well into her 20s to truly make a lasting change. Now, at 25, Shpagina has changed her nose and believes she looks the best she ever has. This anime-inspired Barbie doll is locked and loaded.

4. Wang Jiayun

Jiayun lives in Shenzhen of China's Guangdong province and began her doll journey as a Chinese student who rose to fame for looking like an inflatable doll. The generally accepted term for someone who resembles a doll or looks like they've one too many cosmetic surgeries is "plastic" but for humans that aspire to look like dolls that's the greatest compliment–not too sure about "inflatable" though.

If you let Jiayun tell it, she may tell you that she's worked a great deal for the title of Chinese blow-up doll. Originally from Hong Kong, her appearance has naturally gained her global recognition and even placed her as a staple in the K-beauty world.

Let her tell it and, she'd try to convince you that she is from the Palace of Versailles.

Not only are French dolls are popular in Japan but, after being bullied by her peers at a tender age, Chamu's interest and curiosity sparked to change her look. Chamu has had over a dozen surgeries that cost her over 100 000 dollars.
