Others have broken some of his records by now, but as he continues to create more, it seems impossible to catch up.

This guy gives us bellyaches. Michel Lotito breaks the record for the world’s strangest diet including an unimaginable amount of metal. He must be attracted to shiny things since he had reportedly consumed over nine tons of metal by 1997. What’s on the menu? He ate objects like televisions and bicycles, followed by a small airplane for dessert.
3. Heaviest Weight Lifting Tongue
If you already thought a tongue piercing looks painful, put a 29-pound tongue ring through it. Thomas Blackthorne often skipped leg day to work on his mouth muscle. He lifted four weights attached to a hook in his tongue for more than five seconds.
4. Oldest Wing Walker
At 93, Thomas Lackey is lucky he has never been flown off a plane. The old dare-devil was breaking records at great heights, walking the wings of airplanes while in flight. He is proof that age is truly just a number.
5. Longest Distance To Pull An Airplane
We’ve got a plane-eater and a wing-walker so we might as well add a plane-puller to the list. Kevin Fast blessed us all with his strength and stamina. The Canadian priest pulled a 188-ton plane a distance of twenty-eight feet by rope.

The dog days were not over for this pooch! Bobi was a Rafeiro do Alentejo purebred who surpassed his 31st birthday. It had been 100 years since Bluey the Australian Cattle Dog held the age record at 29 years old.

Martin Brodeur broke the ice when his impressive winning streak was announced. The hockey goalie has broken several records such as most career saves and most wins in a single season. With 552+ wins overall, Brodeur has set an impossible goal to score.
8. Most Cockroaches Eaten In A Minute
King Edwards will likely remain the cockroach-eating champion because not many people are craving creepy crawlies these days. Is England’s pub food really that bad? This Englishman chowed down on thirty-six cockroaches in one minute.
9. Longest Distance Javelin Throw
Uwe Hohn threw a javelin across 104.8 meters in 1984 and remains the record holder. Since the design of the javelin was changed to prevent such long throws shortly after, it seems impossible for javelin throwers to soar past his record now.
10. Most Lightning Strikes Survived
This man will never believe that the chances of getting hit by lightning are slim. With seven strikes and scars to show, Roy Sullivan has been lightning-struck more than anyone else. He must’ve done something to anger Zeus but he lived threw all the electrifying attacks.
11. Longest Fingernails
We’d like to see this gal type on a keyboard or make a fist with her hands. Lee Redmond grew her nails for thirty years to a length over twenty-eight feet long. It would’ve taken days to paint them as they curled off her fingertips.
12. Tallest Person In The World
Standing at 8’11”, Robert Wadlow was a man to look up to. There’s still a chance a taller person will be born someday, but he was born in 1918 and nobody has grown taller than him since. How many times do you think people asked him “How’s the weather up there?”
13. Most Bricks On A Head
We thought bricks were for building houses but evidently, people like to balance them on their heads too. John Evens balanced 101 bricks on his noggin, weighing almost 400 pounds. You better have a sturdy neck if you’re going to try and beat this record.
14. Most Filed Lawsuits
Don’t mess with Johnathan Lee Riches–– he’ll sue you! He hasn't lived up to his surname because he's lost a lot of cases. With over 2,600 filed lawsuits, he has brought many celebrities and large companies to court. He doesn’t stop at humans either–– he’s tried to sue the Eiffel Tower.
15. The Biggest Diamond Found
If diamonds are a girl’s best friend then Frederick Wells must have a lot of female besties. The miner found this gigantic diamond in Thomas Cullinan’s South African mine. It was an astonishing 3,106 carats and has since been cut into smaller gems, sharing the love with the Crown Jewels and Queen Elizabeth II.
16. Most Straws Held In A Mouth
Why would you need to slurp through more than one straw other than to break this record? With 459 plastic straws in his mouth, Manoj Kumar Maharana has a unique taste in talent. Without using his hands, his mouth did all of the heavy lifting.
17. Most Babies In A Single Birth
We thought triplets were a handful until we found out about nonuplets! Halima Cisse gave birth to nine babies in Morrocco–– that’s a whole baseball team.
18. Longest Solo Stand-Up Show
Were people still laughing after two days? It’s no joke–– The Midnight Swinger, David Scott, spat comedy on stage for forty hours and eight minutes. He must’ve been telling lie-down comedy for part of it.
19. Heaviest Train Pulled By A Beard
Some men spend time grooming their beards while others pull trains with them. Ismael Rivas Falcon was a bearded Spanish man who dragged a 6,069-pound train with his facial hair. His bulky beard pulled the train for a distance of 32.8 feet.
20. Most Olympic Medals
The most decorated Olympic athlete in history is swimmer Michael Phelps. He has splashed his way to the top with twenty-eight medals and twenty-three of them are gold. Unless you’re a dolphin, it will be tough to swim passed this champion.
