3. A Mixing Pot Of Cultures

One beautiful thing about America is that it's a huge mixing pot of different cultures from around the world. It's reflected in different cities, in the various cuisines, and all the unique languages spoken here. All of its citizens learn from each other and embrace unique aspects of other cultures that make the United States as strong as it is.

5. Lots of Fast Food

Home to some exclusive fast food chains you can only find in America, many foreigners come to the country in hopes of seeing what all the hype is about. In-N-Out, Culver's, and Sonic are just a few examples of restaurants you'd have to fly over just so you can get a taste. And as a whole, it's safe to say the country is tied to an image of burger and fries at all times. Many people easily imagine a McDonald's around every corner here.

6. Freedom Of Speech

For some countries, the thought of having freedom of speech is simply unimaginable. The idea of being able to voice your opinion and thoughts so freely is one that Americans often take for granted when they shouldn't. We know that many foreigners from different countries would love this opportunity to find truth and knowledge for themselves.

7. Lots of Independence

While some places in the world are focused on caring for the family, America is known for prizing independence and making it on your own. There's a shift in thinking here, one that tells young people they're free to be their own person and walk their own path. And while there's tons of positives to this, it can be quite shocking for other countries that prioritize togetherness.

There's a shared belief around the world that Americans like things to be over the top and incredibly extreme. Whether it's performing wild and dangerous stunts or eating the biggest burger with ten patties on it, foreigners often think of the country as loving the outrageous and overexaggerated.

It's also well-known around the world that America is a country filled with patriotic citizens that love and stand behind it. The United States would not be the country it is if its people weren't as crazy about it as they are.

13. Self-Centered

Sadly, one common stereotype people have against America is that the country is a bit too self-centered and focused on its own history and events. It's a great thing to love your own country, but taking it too far and ignoring everyone else has its own setbacks. Foreigners often think of America as a country that takes pride in itself a little too much.

14. Expensive Healthcare

The struggle most American citizens face with healthcare is one that's known to all. Simple hospital visits can rack up thousands of dollars, while many videos have even circulated online of people refusing to be taken by ambulances. It's quite concerning to see, especially when healthcare is something that everyone on this planet thinks (and knows) should be accessible.
